Will's Cub Scout pack's annual ski trip this year was to Bryce Resort in the Shenandoah Valley. Will had never skiied, so we were a bit apprehensive. No fear, after a few tries and mustering up a lot of courage, Will finally was able to ski down one of the simpler slopes. He was about to give up, but his friend John encouraged him to try out the tow ropes to a smaller hill and after a few tries, Will had it down pat. Kudos to Will for hanging in there! Austria, here we come!!
Maryn, Jim Ide and I stuck around the lodge. I pulled Maryn around the snow a bit in her sled, but after the sun warmed the ground, we had more slush than anything. We pulled out about 3 in the afternoon for the long, rush hour drive home.

Finally up and going, but watch out for the other guy!

Will is about to give up!

He's got it now.

Way to Go!

Three of our skiiers at the end of a long day.

Skiing is no fun - until you get the hang of it and then it's a blast.
