We couldn't imagine a summer that didn't include swimming with the Walden Glen Wahoos, Boy Scout summer camp, band, and spending time with our friends; so we flew back to Virginia in June for the entire summer!
We had a great time and packed as much as possible into our time there. Aunt Sue and Uncle Chuck jetted to Alaska for a month which included a cruise and traveling with my folks. We house/dog/cat sat for them in exchange for free lodging and use of their cars. What a bonus!
Another treat was that our good friends, the Gordys, moved to Virginia and rented a house in our old neighborhood. We were able to visit with them a lot over the summer and catch up. It is hard to believe how much the kids have grown, but they all picked up where they left off so many years ago.

We had a party at Sue and Chuck's to introduce the Gordys to their neighbors. It was great fun and everyone loved the pool.

The annual Wahoo Hop. The boys were so reluctant to go....but all ended up having a great time.

The Wahoo end of the season award ceremony. Sean was selected as Wahoo of the Year. What an honor!
After summer camp Will was awarded with the Honor Patrol ribbon, as he was the 'New Scout' Patrol Leader. He worked very hard with a tough crowd.
